• Montmorillon - Le Cite de l'ecrits - city of writers - set either side of river, cobbled market square, resaurants and cafes..
• Chauvigny - a must to visit on market day or just to climb up into the ancient town, enjoy the views or eagle displays
• Nalliers - our local village with a small bar, great river and good place to cyle or walk to..

Of perhaps a day trip to La Rochelle - this is a trip we have often taken and well worth a visit to the old port and beautiful beaches either side of the town..
