The choice is all yours... stay and enjoy the rhythms and pace of life at Manoir de Trebuchon, take as long or short a walk as you choose, cycle amongst the myriad of tracks, disused railway lines and river tracks as you fancy.  Just a few of the many activities should you choose ....

Kayaking is great fun -  starting from the local village of Nalliers, stop along the way if you choose and perhaps take a picnic with you..

Nature watching - you dont need to move from our balcony - the wildlife comes to you...

Local markets and brocantes - these are in abundance in the local area and a great source of French life.

Horse riding - I am a great fan with my own horse staying at Manoir de Trebuchon for the summer months - the riding is absolutely superb and some of the best I have ever know.   YIt is possible to ride for hourse withouth touching a rode across fields, tracks, woodland, disused railway lines etc. 

Fishing by licence is available on all the local rivers.

'The Beach'....  a man made area on the River Gartempe, you can either float past here on your kayak, cycle or even walk here.  A great setting on the edge of the woods with picnic tables and bbq areas scattered around, a natural play area for children, paddling, swimming and small restaurant and evening bar..

If beautiful architecture, villages and towns is more your flavour - there are so so many places to visit ....
